Question KYB on 7thgen civic?

Just wondering if any one is using KYB gr-2 and agx on their 7th gen civic sedan / coupe? Any feedback on its performance compared to the stock shox?

KYBs arent even out for our cars. Well the only aftermarket shocks out for the 7thgen is the Koni adjustables. Unless u plan on going with full coilovers.

KYB has GR-2's supposedly out for our car, but not the AGX. THE GR-2's aren't meant for lowering so if you are going to lower or go for performance then you need konis. AS of now, I don't know of anyone who has them.

There is also a SR Special version in Taiwan.
So far hadn't heard any feedback from any KYB users on the 7th gen civic yet, interested to know if it will tame the rather haywire stock springs.

I'm not sure abt the price for US, but in Singapore, they are selling at the same price as Koni. the fronts are direct replacements, no need to dissect the stock struts like koni.

True, but I just found this on site from a company in Cali.

KYB AGX
2002 RSX 731003 / 731004 741060 $132.34 $96.37

Part numbers are the same for our cars, so I'm gonna call'em up on Monday to find out how much for shipping.

ya. it is definitely out.. Taiwan already has it, and there are some who claim Singapore also have it, but I'd yet to locate a shop selling them. If it's not in US yet, it should be just a matter of time.

The fronts are full replacement, unlike the koni. The reviewer says it is an improvement over the stock struts. looks like the wait is worth it.

KYB's AGX unfortunately or not available in the US at the moment, and KYB North America does not have a date when they will be getting a shipment from KYB of Japan.

sorry, don't know how to answer that question.. there are many who said the KYBs are here already, and they just mentioned 'normal, non-adjustable ones'. I'd checked with some very popular workshops but they all say neither KYBs nor tokico are available. only ones they have are Koni.

I'm also confused if KYBs have really reached our shores.

SGda, I have heard the Tokicos are here but non adjustable ones. Someone has actually seen them. Well, if its non adjustable, I think its not worth it.
