Hayame/Dropzone Coilovers Same thing?

I was comparing the two and they looked very similar to me.

see how it has 3 locking rings...
both have top mounts
both of them the rear is bronze-ish
the steering arm is just flat unlike the stock ones
i dunno bout ya'll but they look exactly the same just with different labels...
this is something people who are interested in hayames want to consider... not saying that dropzone is badd but they dont exactly have the best reputation. does anyone have either?

dragoon is an unknown quantity at this point
Looks pretty close to me, could be an exact copy. DAD has been known to copy designs from other companies before, this might be the case too, since I don't believe they are owned by SPW (owners of Hayame).

they are alright to deal with
but they are just a distributers not the owners.

Wow those look exactly like the Hayame's. I bet they both get the product from the same manufacturer.

SPW (Speed Performance Works) is the exclusive US importer of Hayame. Some minor compoments of the Dropzones may be the same as the Hayame but the parts that count (the damper and springs) are much higher quality on Hayame. The Dropzone sells for more as well. This is not just another one of my shameless plugs for Hayame. I am one of the biggest distributors of Dropzone but my honest opinion is the Hayame is a better product although I have never had major complaints about the Dropzone full coilovers.
