drifting all the time?

ok so far i've got my cusco rear and neuspeed front strut tie bars on and it corners a lot better, less body roll, but if i take corners too hard the whole car drifts into the other lane, my guess is cause the body wants to roll and instead of doin that the whole car rolls together and drifts, will this happen even more when i get my tanabe underbrace on? i mean i like bein able to take turns and curves faster im just worried i'll do it too hard and end up slidin off the road, maybe when i get my rims/tires they'll help me keep traction

sway bars will help with that. So far you are only doing chassis reinforcement. while they help with body roll, they won't work wonders. If you lower your car and change the center of gravity, they should work a little better, but sways will do more for the drifting than the strut bars.

Welcome to the world of more neutralized handling. The problem is that the car can now take more than the tires. So if you've got stock tires, ditch them. The other thing is that you stiffened the top and left the bottoms alone. Stiffen the rear, it'll help the car rotate through corners.

um, Im thinking a severe case of understeer. are you on the gas when you take these turns? if you are you may be experianceing Power induced understeer.

But like Boilermaker said, upgrade your tires, and possibly get a larger rear anti-roll bar. and lay off the gas, dont try to accelerate untill the nose is pointed in the right direction.

Well yeah... understeer is the other possibility. When he said the whole car slides... I kinda took it as sideways... which is what I can get the car to do assuming i hit the magic tire pressures.... but yeah, if its going front end first, you need a firmer *** end.

I really wanna lower my car but i'm gonna wait until i have enough money to get wheels/tires and either coilovers or springs/shocks at the same time cuz it will look bad with new wheels and not dropped, and it will also look bad dropped with stock wheels, so when i get money im gonna be doin it at the same time but i dunno when that will be

I tried to drift with my civic and like the guy said understeer and I crashed right into the mountain side. I was happy though, because if I were to go the other way then I would have went down a 600 foot drop. I still drift with my car but now in a parking lot or a very big road, not no narrow 2 lane road in the mountains. Reading Too much Initial D

on second thougt, you may be right boilermaker. He could just be overdriving the car. either way a good set of tires will do wonders.

It doesn't look bad as long as you pick a tire size that is nearly stock. I drove around all summer on 215/45/17s with no drop and it didn't look like a 4x4 at all. The wheel gap stays the same.
Theres nothing wrong with a drop on stock wheels either.
I don't know who engrained this "drop it or it looks bad" thing in your head (well, actually I do), but if you're making a thread about handling performance, then making excuses based on appearance, it isn't gonna work too well.
