Buying used springs

If someone is selling H&R springs that were used for 2 years would they run fine on my stock civic? or do you guys think I shouldn't buy them. The owner said his shocks aren't blown or anything so he assumes they are fine.

H&R are fine for the street... Don't expect great ride quality though, the H&Rs cause a bit of resonance. If they have been used for 2 years, you have no idea what the guy did with them... if they've been through a lot of autoX then they're prolly going to be loose... they are made out of metal and metal does warp under pressure for extended period of time
