Grey's Endlinks: Update
I'm almost done with the design. It will be very similar to this one...

I tried some aluminum spacers, but they were crushed under the torqueing force. They suck.

I will be shipping out the ordered endlinks soon. Stay tuned...
BTW, what happened to the big thread? Anyone?

Yes! They're ready for shipment. All I need to do is make the instructions and I'll ship them out. Here's what the latest design looks like...

I am now taking orders. The good news is that I won't change the price yet. It's still $85 shipped for a full set and $50 shipped for two of them (enough to install a front or rear sway bar). I will have a large thread with all of the details very soon.
This thread is just about the updates to the design...
So... I have added washers and o-rings on the outside to cushion the endlinks and to muffle and noise they might make due to some play in the bushing and housing. I have also added a washer to space the endlink out. Two washers will be used for vehicles that haven't been lowered. One will be used for lowered vehicles. All of this will be in the instructions. There is also a version for the Progress mounting kit (for vehicles not equiped with sway bars).
This design is very sturdy. I have tested it through several thousand miles. Some of these miles were very abusive. For example, I bent a wheel on certain bumps, but the endlinks held up.
They were tested with the Progress sway bars, but I'm sure they could handle the stiffer Mugen sway bars for the RSX.

Yep, all Civics, Civic Si's, and RSX's will be able to use these endlinks. Even those without sway bars if they buy adapter kits from other manufacturers (like the Progress one for our Civics).

Some people have had problems with the stock endlinks breaking. Especially when upgrading to aftermarket sway bars. These are very sturdy endlinks; these are less likely to break.
Man, i just took a look at my stock EX endlinks, they are like | | wide...i'm so paranoid about how that thing can actually hold! By the looks of the pics, grey's endlinks are like |----------| wide at least...lol...huge difference, will definitly be able to feel it! I WANT EM NOW GREY!!!!! >_< blah...no rush, i preordered too late neway.
they look awesome grey!!!! can't wait to get mine in the mail!! i just ordered a bunch of parts from rob at tornactive and will probably get them on wednesday. hopefully your endlinks come soon so i can install everything at once!! woohoO! hehe

holy bringing back a dead thread! Thanks for searching, but you might want to PM him as he does not come in here that often. You get all 4 endlinks for $80. Hotchkis ones are $150 so these are cheaper and supposedly better.
The only problem i see with these endlinks are you have to disconnect one side of the endlink in order to adjust the length. That's not a good thing when you're trying to set your sway bar up with zero preload, or tension, at the static ride height.
Grey: I PM'ed you but you haven't got back to me yet.

The height adjustability without taking off one side of the endlink. I can make them like this too.
I'll experiment a little when I have some time and maybe I'll make a better version with this sort of a feature... We'll see... Originally posted by Grey
