Camber kit Installation!!!
DO you guys think it is a good idea to install your own rear camber kit or even the front one? i was looking at some directions and it doesn't seem that hard but it seems like you need some kinda machine to tell you how much to calibrate it? SO has anyone ever install a camber kit outta there home garage before cause i was thinking of doing it my self!!!
i did!!! i installed mine (SPC front and rear) in one day and do the alignment the same day. the install is easy, however, it is just time consuming. when ever you install it, do the alignment ASAP!!! you can feel the difference when your car is aligned properly. just a thought...

install it yourself, take half hr to do rear and another half hr to do front, very easy job and yes, bring it for alignment, NOTICABLE better in accleration and ride quality (for my car)
To install the front:
Loosen both bolts that hold the strut to the spindle. Remove the top bolt. Install the new bolt, you will notice a cam. Install so that the cam is pointed up. This is the zero adjustment spot. Tighten the bolts.
To install the rear.
Remove the top arm. Adjust the camber kit to match the length of the stock arm. Install the new camber arm. Put a jack under the wheel hub and lift up, this will preload the spring and the bushings. Tighten everything up. This is also zero adjustment.
Take the car to an alignement as soon as possible, though you are still at the point where you are not adjusted (just like with the stock parts). So while you are not helping, you are not hurting. But your car will still be out of alignment as far as toe in/toe out. This will quickly destroy a pair of tires with too much to in or toe out.
