Clicking sound from Tein Basic!
I just finished installing Tein Basic shocks and when i turn there is a loud clicking sound from both rear sides. When pushing down on the car, it seems that the dust cover is hitting the threads on the shock. Has anyone else had this problem and know of a way to fix this or might know what is wrong?? Thanks a ton.
is it like a loud clicking that occurs when the rear bounces? im having that problem on mine. but ill have to wait till tomorrow till i take it a shop to have them look at it. but i found the rear dampers on my SS to be out of the socket so im guessing that is what is causing the noise

Yes, it is when the car bounces or turns or basically whenever the shock moves. I'll look at the damper in a minute. Please update me when you take your car to the shop. Thanks.
i just installed the Basic this Sat. well, a guy installed mine, he said he need to cut someting in the rear shock....bcz he test drove my car, the he said he forgot something so i guess he fix that problem prob. same as you have now.......maybe the rear dust cover.
