Tire rub, lowering, camber etc.

On my 2k1, I had my 17" tantrums with 205/40/17s, lowered with goldline springs about 1.75". I didn't ever fix the camber, but it looked like if the rear wheel's camber was fixed that the top of the tire would rub the lip on the fender well. ... . . Well, now im fixin to drop my 2k3, put the same rims and tires on, but im putting camber kits on as well, should I anticipate a problem with rubbing? has anybody else run into this problem?

As long as you have your camber adjusted properly so they tuck in behind the fender it should not be a problem, if it will be that low. Like dragoon said with 205/40's they should'nt rub at all.

I have a coupe with goldlines, 205/40/17's, and camber kit front and back aligned and I dont rub at all.....in fact I have a little gap that I might try to fill up by buying some 205/45's or 215/ 40's.....but I dont think you will rub at all.

I've got 18's with 225/40/18 rubber and Goldline drop.. absolutely no rubbing at all! I have been driving pretty wildly too in the past couple of days and no rubbing.
