Rep Power: 324 wheel and tire packages
yeah i was down at a wheel/tire shop the other day doing one of those computer programs things to see what would look good on my car. well i picked a fiew out and got price quotes on all of them...$1400 minimum for all...i seriously dont have that kind of cash. so i was wondering, are the wheel and tire packages on places like wheelmax.com any good? i found a fiew kinds that i liked and theyre only around $800 for 17"s...is it worth it?

Rep Power: 407 most likely as general, wheel and tires packages are cheaper but the company give you crappy tires... try www.tirerack.com for the tires too.

Rep Power: 0 Unless you are seriously looking to go into competition, I really think you should just get something that looks good and doesn't cost an arm and a leg. If you are lucky they won't get stolen. I've discovered that no matter how nice you want your car to look, the things you buy for your car to make it look good, will always look better to a thief!

Rep Power: 0 I was going to get a wheel and tire package from wheelmax, but when I called them they wanted an extra $60 to mount and balance them, and I have heard that they don't balance them very well. I also live in Florida and would have had to pay tax on them, so I decided t obuy from a place out of state.

Rep Power: 0 I bought my rims and tires seperately. I got my rims brand new off of Ebay for $510(including shipping) and I bought my tires at Kauffman Tire for $390(including mounting and balancing, I also get free rotating and balancing of the tires for the whole time I have them)
