Do you have a close-up picture of your Si wheels/Firestone tires? I'm trying to find out what the stock rubber looks like on Si's.
I'd eventually like to get some 195/60/15's but don't necessarily want a balloon wrapped around my rims.

Rep Power: 0 Aftermarket rims for the most part are heavy (anywhere from 21-28+ lbs.). Of course you can get "lightweight" rims but they're too expensive. Stock wheels tend to be substantially lighter. Si rims are only 20lbs each. The stock alloys off of the HX 6th Gen Civic's are only 11 pounds. They're only 14" though. That'd look crappy on our cars.

Rep Power: 0 I guess I'm just tired of the crappy ride with low-profile tires. The streets are not getting any better and I've driven with 40 series tires for 4-5 years. I'm tired of dodging everything that could potentially damage a low-profile tire.
I also would not spend any money on small aftermarket wheels. CHEESEY! I'd rather roll with my stock steel wheels and silver hub caps. Overall, while maybe not as cool looking, I beginning to like the look of OEM wheels with upgraded performance tires. Of course it helps if the car has been lowered.
I guess that's just my 2 cents.
