BTW. . . thanks for the compliments, guys. We did have a pretty good turnout, and everyone's rides were looking good and clean.
Yeah, the 5+'s are definitely MUCH MORE impressive viewed at an angle. The spokes are quite deep (which can account for them being so thin from the front) and they arch back toward the outer rim. They're silver, but the very front of each spoke is machined, as are the flares front each spoke where it meets with the lip.
They're much easier to appreciate in person, too. Until I saw them at Discount for myself, I wasn't sold on them, either. Hehe. . . and at 10-30 MPH. . . . they look HOT!!!! And at freeway speed, the spokes all but disappear. . . . very clean!!!! Just a hint of gleam between the hub and the lip. . . hard to explain until you see for yourself. They're nice rims, well put-together. . . and very well-priced. I'd recommend them if few people in your area have them. My luck turned out being that the DAY I brought my car home with the new rims, this CUTE young lady admired them for several minutes from her silver 02 EX coupe. . . and two days later. . . . . SHE GOT THE SAME RIMS!!!! *sigh* And she lives two buildings away from me. . . sucks, man. But unless she lowers her car, tints the windows, puts on fogs, etc, etc. . . . I won't worry. Other than the wheels and tires, she's stock.
