Replacements for the Firestones - Nokians?
Hey all;
went shopping and browsing for tires yet again today, and a guy at a Kal-Tire threw me a curve ball:
Nokian WRs @ 185/65R15 H Rated All Weather Tires.
Now, considering I've been looking at Bridgestone Potenza RE590s and Dunlop Sport A2s so far, I am totally in the dark about this Nokian tire. It's got an excellent warranty on it (100,000kms) and it's rated for year-round use AND snow. It's right in the ballpark price-wise with the Potenzas (actually a little more expensive), so what do you guys and gals think? I would like to have something that can handle snow (living in British Columbia and all) and I want to keep to H-Rated rubber. The only negative thing I read about these tires is they have a softer sidewall than most other H rated tires. And on top of it all, it's listed as a light truck / SUV tire, but the guy who owned the shop showed me the Nokian WRs on his 2001 Acura EL.
Anyone have these? Thoughts?
