question about si rim and vibrations
if i get the 99-00 si rims for xmas, do those rims still need hubcentering rings? cuz this whole getting balanced 3 times just for bigger wheels is ridiculous.
I have heard that hte center ring does help with the balancing as it keeps more surface area on the mounting of the car. You should only need to get your tires balanced once ... balancing them again is redundant unless you change the tire or something like that. Basically, fork out the extra cash for the little plastic things (cheap anyways) and if it saves you the $40 (CDN) dollars or so to get them constantly balanced then it did the trick.

They're Honda Factory wheels. They should fit the Civic Hubs perfectly. They aren't like aftermarket ones that are made to fit every car. I don't think I have them in my 00 Si rims (either that or I just don't see them in there) and mine don't vibrate at all. Just get them balanced right the first time and you should be good to go.
