has anybody here used wheelmax to get their wheels??? sound like a helluva deal to me, the wheels i want, tires, mounted and balanced all for $549, with free shipping. kinda sounds too good to be true really, im just waiting to get cornholed. planning on getting 17" excel shu4's for my white '02 EX coupe, any opinions???

my friend got some on wheel max
they do have some of the best prices
but not personally so I wouldnt know, but should always recheck them just in case.
shu's were ugly in the begining, but it grew on me..

I've heard lots of mixed responses on wheelmax from people on this site. some people got f'ed and some got their wheels in a couple of days fine. search the wheel and tire forum for "wheelmax" and you should get some more in depth answers. good luck.

I ordered a set of 18" Exel H-50's from them. The price was great and they got here in about 5 days, mounted, balanced, and not a scratch on em. The computer told them that I was going to need wheel spacers to put those rims on my car.....so they even sent me wheel spacers!!! But it turned out that I really didn't need them.... Oh well. If I ever buy wheels again......I'll buy em from wheelmax.

I used them for mine, price was good but they didn't actually have one of the rims in stock, so I ended up waiting 3 weeks for them to show up. Call and talk to them, if they have the rims you are looking for instock it shouldn't take very long at all though.

I got my wheels at wheelmax too, great price, but make sure they give you spacers for your wheels. I bought exels as well, and there's basically a 100% chance you'll need centering rings. So ask for them. Be very clear with what you want, so they don't send you the wrong wheels. A couple of ppl had that prob. My wheels still vibrate midly at 70-80mph...

I got my rims alone from wheelmax.com, and the service was great. They told me the rims would be here the following monday; they were here that thursday. (ordered on a monday night.) The price was right, and I have absolutely no complaints about them. However, I have read several times that they have a problem balancing rims. So if you order a package from them, have them checked locally just to be safe.
