I got a set of those exel TZ10's in gunmetal and put them on my car (at least they gave me the right wheels, w/o scratches). And as expected, the steering wheel vibrates like crazy on the freeway. Wheelmax seems to do a bad job with balancing. So I'm going to have to do dynamic balancing on them.

I called them up and they said they'll refund the balancing fee if I fax them the work order for balancing. Hopefully they'll make good on that deal.

To anybody who wants to order from wheelmax: don't have them balance your tires. Given that a lot of other people have had problems with wheel balancing from wheelmax, its just extra work to fax them the work order to refund. The customer service this time around was pretty good though, so that seems to be an improvement from the experiences of other people.

On the flip side though, I really dig my wheels. A bit more road noise and the ride's a bit more rough.

Hahah, I wish that car shown in my avatar's mine. That's a R34 skyline [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif[/IMG] I own a black civic, bone stock except for my rims. Looks kinda weird w/o springs though.
