Tire Size/New Rims question

If I decide to get new 15" rims such as these, can I use my stock sized tires (notice I said stock sized not stock) on them?

Should be able too but stock tires suck if they are firestones

How wide are the rims? 185 is a pretty skinny tire if the rim gets wider than the stock 6". 195/60 or 205/60 will keep you pretty close to stock size, and give you a wider tire if the rim is wider than stock, but you should be able to get by with the stock size if you want also.

The reasoning behind me wanting to get away with stock size is money of coruse. So I guess I need to find out if anybody knows the width of the Rota SubZeros (15 inch).

Any time the tire is removed from the rim, you need to have it re balanced. Regardless of the size of the rim. Even when you have tires changed on the same rim, it isn't going to be the same. So yes, you need to have the new rims balanced, even if you transfer the tires.
