Squeaking Brakes......

Hey everyone, I have had a problem with my right front brake. It is always sqeaking and I can't get rid of it. Is there something that I can just spary inbetween the disc and the brake pad that will get rid of the noise or do I have to remove the whole brake to clean the break pad?

Are your brakes worn down to the metal tab that makes a squeaking noise to let you know that they are worn out? Are they aftermarket pads?

yeah man in the civic hand book, it says that if your break start to sqeak then they are worn out to the metal.

Mine sqeaks occasionally, usually when I'm braking while turning at low speeds. I only got 3200 miles. It's starting to worry me. It doesn't happen often, but it happens...

Usually 2 reasons. Sand between the pad and rotor or indicator telling you it's time for new rotors. If you only have 3200 or so miles, probably got crap on the pads. They're easy to change if it bugs you enough.

i have already gone through this thing, its quit simple our brakes suck a$$. i had like 12k on mine and the front right brake was basically all the way gone i had about a mm left of brake. another reason you might hear the squeaking is the bolt that holds the calliper down might be on to tight or loss which will cause the brake to wear unevenly which in the end will make your brakes squeak cause one end of the bad is gone. just go buy the aem brake pads which serve more than one perpose. they are awsome since there is no visible brake dust a real up side if you have rims. also they work a lot better i think than the stock ones, and they are easy to install

AEM brake pads, are they just as efficient if not better than regular pads.
