Where can I get centering hub rings???

I just got new wheels today. They are Konig Verdicts. After putting them on and a little test drive, I found the front wheels started to vibrate at 30 mph. I did some search on vibration with new wheels and I found some people are suggesting purchasing a set of centering hub rings. Where can I get those rings? the place you got your wheels from? or any tire shop should be able to get them for you. if its not the hub rings, its most likely a poor balancing job

THanks!!! I got the wheels from a private party, so I guess my best chance on finding the hub rings is at local tire stores.

Something you can do in the meantime:

Take the lugs off and put them back on in the star pattern. Tighten each one little by little until you get them to 80 ft. lbs of torque. Tightening them little by little really helps.

Just ordered a set of hub centric rings from Discount Tires Co.. They are $2.00 each and additional $2.00 for shipping & Handling. So it's $10.00 shipped for a set of four. The local tire store tries to sell them to me for $20.00 a set!!! Hopefully the hub rings will get rid of the vibration.

So what type of hubcentric ring is better? The plastic or the metal ones? I saw that ppl posted the metal ones for 10 bucks shipped, with each being 2 bucks. But then I saw the plastic ones for 3 bucks each. Which one is better? Thx for the replies.

I have plastic/vinyl on mine and they have not melted. I did not really ask for plastic, I just ordered hubcentric rings for my wheels when I ordered my tires from Tirerack and got plastic this time instead of aluminum. No biggie.

On a semi-related note, for those of you who have to drive in snow, I got Sumitomo HTR+ tires and they are awesome. With the snow and freezing temps this week, I have gotten to drive them in heat, rain and snow in a three month period, and even with the 215/45/17, they handle everything great! (Dry and warm handling was expected to be better, but did not know about snow with that size). Plus, they are relatively cheap.

Yeah when I ordered my RS6's they came with plastic hub rings, no problems yet need to drive my car some more and see if they vibrate, I was thinking I am not used to such small sidewall versus my old 15" hubs
