i'm sure somebody knows this. I ask because i don't know the weight of my rims, but i know the total weight of the wheel/tire. Can anybody tell me how much their 205/40/17 tires weigh? I'm sure somebody weighed them together and has a well known wheel that has its weight posted on the net. I don't care what brand tire, probably makes very little difference.

I have exel tz10's and there's absolutely no reference material on them. Their website has nothing yet either.

well each tire is going to be a little different, maybe off a couple hundredths of a lb., but i have no clue how much they weigh.what kind of wheels do you have, im sure theres a website somewhere that has their weight.

Ok, changed title of thread, changing question a little. Does anybody know the total weight of their rims/tires, specifically people that have 205/40/17? That way I can look up the weight of the rims and subtract. I really want to know, cus' I have no idea how much my rims weigh and I'm curious.

if u want tire weights, you have to look at their official websites. they have specs there.

Hahahah, u got me there I looked at the Kumho site once and they didn't have it, so I assumed all tire companies are like that. They had the weights for my tires, Falken Ziex 512's... Hey it turns out that my 17" rims are 17.5 lbs. Not that bad... at least better than what I had expected. So Exel wheels =
