cheapest place for SSR Competitions???
Call the guys at Hard Racing, I had them import me some SSR GT1's, for waaayyyyy cheaper than tirerack.com. Only problem was, when they finally got here 3 months later, I couldn't afford them anymore. But SSR sent the US a huge shipment earlier this year, they should have plenty of Type C's in stock. Direct Link for you.

I e-mailed Hard Racing for a price quote on the SSR C's, it's been 4 days now and no reply. I hope they reply soon, summer's almost over and I want new wheels.

For your info... SSR does have some strength issues. The Miata guys at autocrosses always complain about the flex in the wheels and have had problems with the wheels deforming. Those are in 14 and 15" sizes... apparently it gets worse with increasing diameter.
Just so you know... I don't have personal experience with it, just passing along what people have told me... the C is a light wheel, but the strength in cornering just isn't there.

If you really want some LIGHT wheels Check out Keizers
the 15's are only 8lbs each. 4 lbs lighter then my Rota Slips in 15. Only thing is I dont recomend using them on the street.
