Tantrum 2 vs. Maxxim BaAng

Hey guys, what do you think about the Tantrum 2? Linky

I emailed a guy about how much they cost and they run about $2200 because they're 3 pieces and I just don't have that kind of money...

He suggested the Maxxim BaAng as an alternative. Whatcha think? Baang

Thanks in advance

They look almost identical to me, but there's something about the Tantrum's that catch my eye. Maybe it's just the fact that I'm usually attracted to the more expensive item.

thats expensive, what size are u getting, u can get a 17" wheel and tire package with
the tantrum for around $1000-1200, depends what kinda of tires u want, the good one will cost a bit more.

I usually don't like the "bolted" look, but those look sweet. I have Tantrums on my car, which I love, except all the fawking center caps eventually warped and clipped off. And Konig still hasn't replied to my warranty request! Argh...

Edit: other alternatives to the Tantrums are Motegi MR7 (too heavy though) and Tenzo-R AV7. If I could do it again, I might have gone with the Tenzos.

i would say save up for the tantrum2 since not many people have em, but it's up to you. i guess the baangs look similar.. just don't like the orangey-red color on center cap and wheel

They look the same to me! I think the Maxxim wheels are little less in price than the Konig, even though its the same company.

altho i dont really like that style that much, go with the maxxims. if you get the toxxins all youll be paying for is the brand label. its the same company, and the same wheel. the baang might be a little heavier, but when theres so many rivvets on them, you have to expect that from the rim.
