hey yall,
not many ppl here seem to have maxxim rims. They are a sub company of Konig so i figure their wheels must be just good. I just got a set of 'Volume' rims. How are Maxxim's for rims? light? strong?
And also - how bad is it if I ride Kumho ECSTA 712's (summer tires) in the snow and ice? will i get into an accident and wreck my car?

Rep Power: 372 I love my Maxxim rims. I have the Tequilas. Check out my ride...click the link below....I have them mounted on 205/45/17 inch "Z" rated Falkens. I have not had any problem with the rims so far. I would say that they are strong and cheap. I only paid $1,000 for the rims and tires.

Rep Power: 372 Where did you order them from? How much did you pay for the set with tires? I got mine from precisioninstallations.com . They are located on Long Island in valley Stream, right near my house. The $1,000 was for the rims and tires installed. Where have you been? I either post here or on superhonda.com. I have had alot of down time at work lately so thats why I am a diamond member...lol.

Rep Power: 0 i had no money and time to do mods so i lost interest in the site. but now that its spring i can start working on my car again. maybe even clear my lights if im brave enuf.
i ordered the rims and tires from whaletires.com - $992 shipped, mounted, balanced, chrome valve stems, tuner style lugs, locks and key
not a bad deal for maxxims - they are usually pricey cuz they are made by Konig

Rep Power: 372 I need the wheel caps for the maxxim tequilas, they are bubbling up. I called the store but they are on back order. That is the only problem I have with the wheel. He Wawacito....you should come down to Nathans in Oceanside on Long Beach road....Wednesday evenings. There is a big car meet. My club meets there. Anytime after 8pm.
