Hey everyone,

What should I torque my wheels to? Their still the original 2001 coupe SI rims.

Thanks.

Units, units, units.... The number is what counts.

80 is allright, but I do a step lower. 70 foot pounds. That's enough clamping force anyway, so just avoid over-tightening.

Well 80 footpounds is right... 70 is under-tightening them and for alloys step it up to about 100 ft pds...

I'm not sure about that. Just read this: Wheel Lug Nut Torquing
I went with the lower value for our bolt size because I read abother article explaining clamping force.

Edit: Oh yeah, also remember to re-torque them after 100 miles. They do get looser.
