from what i have heard from many people, is 19's do fit, but obviously it depends on how low your ride is...

WOW yeah thats big rubber bands for tires those would bend on my roads around here. Yeah I am still rolling on 15" Hubs but yeah if I got rims it would be 17" but if you have the money and want them go ahead but yes they will fit but with a drop dunno

35 series tires are not that bad esp if they are 225/235.

Im actually probably going to get some dubs in the not too far future. Ive heard that there is already a 7th gen rolling on 20s in AZ somewhere, phoenix area I think. 20"x8.5" w/245/35/20 tires with a 42mm or greater offset should work if you roll the rear fender lips.

If they made a 20 inch rim that was 20 x 7 or 7.5 than yes it would fit. But they don't sell any tires that are 225-35-20 or 215-35-20. You would need to get some custom made tires. 20 x 8.5 is too damn wide. NO way they will fit. I have had 19s and from my experience I think that a 225-40-19 would probably fit. It may rub when you turn.

I just put 19's on my car and I have a 2" drop. No problems what-so-ever!!! Heres a pic..

well maybe not..it wont let me upload but yeah they fit.

OH...and just for the record...they do make a 20" X 7.5" rim (alba battles) I would assume they made tires to fit since they make the wheel. I know this because i was going to get them instead of the 19's but then i'd be bling-blingin waaayyyy to much. they are like all chrome and nothing else!! Nice rims if you are into that lowrider look. And yes they would fit if you only had about an inch and a half drop. 100% positive. Anyone up for it?

Hey CivicChick, if 20s will fit where can I buy those battles with tires. My friend just put those on his Grand Prix and they look good.

I just got a reply from Alba and they told me the alba battle comes in 18 x 7.5 or 20 x 8.5 not 7.5. He said they don't even offer a tire that would fit our car. He said the biggest is 19 with a 225-35 and maybe even a 225-40. He wasn't sure about the 40 series though. If you find a tire and rim in 20 inch that would fit our car let me know. I would really like to buy one for show only.

I was told at my local shop where I buy my rims that a 225-40 tire would fit on a 19. Not too much of a drop though.

Hey FastandFurious, why not give it a try. I am pretty sure it would fit. Ask your shop if you can try it and if it doesn't fit go with the 225-35 tire. Here is a link to the tire I heard would fit. link I think you will have less than a finger gap when you turn but it shouldn't rub.

Hey people! 20"s are too damn small! My friend has 25"s on his 2K2 Civic, so how you like that?

He had all four wheel wells completely removed, the only bad parts are that he can't turn corners, he slides a lot and there are sparks when he accelerates too fast...that probably has something to do with the rims not having any rubber on them at all becuase the rim itself is already bigger than the wheel well. HEH!

But hey, now days the bigger the rim the better, right? You can't be a pimp if you got tiny 18"s on your ride. You need 25"s word up!

25s aint ****. When I was at the car show Dayton introduced there biggest wheel ever. It was a 36 inch gold dayton. NOw that is big. The biggest tire made so far for suvs not monster trucks is the 26 inch by Yokohama. I would like to see someone put a 36 inch dayton on a civic

I think someone with 19s should give the 225-40 a try. People say they fit but that it will rub when you turn. I was told it won't rub but I'm not for sure if it will rub or not. When I saw the tire it was just a little bigger than the 225-35. So I think there is a possibilty it will fit and that tire will definitely protect the rim a whole lot more than the 35 tire.

36"??? Are u crazy, that's not even realistic. One rim with rubber is about half the size of the car. What you need are wheels they put on industrial monster dump trucks....what are those? Like 90" without rubber.
