i've got a set of 205 60 15 snow tires sitting around and they have 80% treaf left. i don't want to waste them, so was wondering if the stock 15 inch steelies would fit.

Maybe, take it to a tire shop and ask... also check how wide the stock ones are...

A 205/60/15 will fit. That is the maximum tire size for the 5.5" rim though.

My $.02

i have that same question too, but thinking about getting it for the 1.7EL which comes with 6.0J series rims, that's wider than what the civic's steel rims right?

Since there is an increase in the width, would it affect the performance of the car, ie. make it accelerate slower? I'm sure that the handling would be better right?

Don't you usually want snow tires to be thinner so they will cut through the snow more effectively?
