Why relocate?
Hello all, ran a search but it didn't answer my question, only one question and that is --- if you upgrade to AEM Big Brake Rotor kit, WHY do you need to relocate the calipers? Why can't they stay in the same spot? Just wondering...
Well I think it's because the rotar is about 2 or 3 inches bigger so the caliper has to be moved up or it wont......Wait....doesn't the rotars have the AEM calipers attatched to it in the first place...and all you have to do is bolt the new rotar on and connect the break line...and your set....do a SEARCH...

Cause the caliper is in a kixed position and if you wouldn´t relocate it you couldn't even install the rotor, and there are to kits the big rotor and bog brake kits,
one is only rotors and caliper relocation
the other includes the 4 pot caliper.........

The caliper sits just outside the outer edge of rotors. The outside diameter of the Big Brake rotor is bigger than stock. Somebody here has pics of his AEM BB kit, the difference in diameter is pretty obvious.
