Relocating Radio DIY

Is there or does anyone have a DIY for relocating the radio where the lighter plug thing is?

theys a guy that works at tweeter here and he put a head unit where the slider thing is in the console. He said the only thing he cut or removed was the actual thing that slides, that was it. Its pretty cool and then he put a tv where the headunit used to be.

I had mine down there but put it back up top. had the lighter peice out and cut out a place where the radio would go and fiberglassed it. looks good but over a years time it was starting to seperate. I will sell mine but it needs to be fiberglassed at the top. it was expensive to replace cig. lighter and peice that it goes into, about 60-70 dollars, so instead of ruining yours to fiberglass just buy mine so if you don't like it you have your old stuff to put back in. will post a picture if anyone is interested in it.

also anyone have layouts or ideas of how to do the DIY? im afraid to ask the local shop what the cost of custom mounting would be
