civic stock brakes bolt-on replacement options

Hi guys

Bought an 2002 1.6 81kw civic for tracking. Do you guys know if we have any brakes available from more powerful models that are bolt-on replacement or with minimum modifications? I can also move to 16 inch wheels if needed. As its an old car dont want to invest a fortune and hoping to find "almost direct replacement" from other hondas or more powerful versions.

Thanks for the help.

Not without going 5 lug, at least in the US.

I have read somewhere you can use Mini Cooper front rotors which have a larger diameter but cannot remember how to get the calipers working. I also track my '02 Civic and have been struggling with brakes. For your power level, there's no reason some aftermarket pads and rotors wouldn't work.

You can convert the rear brakes to disc, with those from the SI I believe, I haven't done it so can't comment on the ease of it. And there are aftermarket kits that have larger rotors and multi-piston calipers, but those aren't real cheap on the whole.

Are you simply overheating your currents brakes, or are more wishing to improve the stopping distance for 'limited number' of stops/braking?
