2003 Civic Rubbing Noise Front Right

Hey everyone. I just picked up a 2003 Civic LX from a friend. When I drive I hear a rubbing noise coming from the front right side. It gets faster as the car goes faster. Had a shop tell me it is the wheel bearing, but I don't need to change it for a while. I know the alignment needs to be done, could it be the samething to do with that? Noise seems to quiet when i do brake.

Sometimes I feel like I can feel the rubbing while holding onto the steering wheel.

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you

check your brake pads. ur pad life-guage might have broken off and you might be rubbing on the backing of the brake bad plate

both calipers are bolted down, and i just replaced the rotors and pads. i thought it was the cv but those have already been replaced also. the noise is still there but sometimes more when i turn.

Could be a wheel bearing. When mine went out the wheel had no play, a humming noise and a slightly off-centered steering wheel were the only symptoms.

Have you tried to run the car on jack stands and see if you can isolate the noise with a stethoscope or long screw driver?
