Brake Lights won't turn off!!!
I was told one day my lights were on and I blew it off bc my car usually will make a noise to notify me. Sure enough the next day my car wouldn't start, it's not the battery which is less than a year old, but sure enough my brake lights won't cut off and are draining my battery. Can someone please help me or tell me what this problem is!!!!!!!!! Is it normal wear and tear?

There is a plastic pin inserted into a hole in the brake pedal arm/linkage. If the pin falls out it can't press the plunger on the brake switch.
