Brake lock-up issue
Brake lock-up issue
For a couple months now my driver's side front caliper will get stuck against the rotor. It seems to happen somewhat randomly. If I use the brakes a lot the pedal will eventually get stiff and cause it to lock up (only the driver's side front). Sometimes I will shut the car off without it being locked up and it is locked up eight hours later when I go to leave. I have replaced both front calipers thinking that might be the issue, which provided no relief. If I stomp on the pedal a few times it seems to relieve some of the pressure but a couple more uses of the brakes locks it back up. I am at a loss as to what it could be and would like some opinions before I jump into replacing the master cylinder and/or brake booster. My car is an 02 EX. Any input is appreciated. Thanks guys.

What was wrong with the hose?
Bleed the fluid (All 4) anyway. If you get alot of moisture in the lines, the pistons inside the calipers will eventually seize up.

Update: The problem is back. After working fine for a few days I just got home and my brakes were smoking and sure enough, it's locked up again. Any other ideas on what it could be?
