Need help/info on new wheels..

Hello everyone, need some help as I am a noobie...anyway here it goes:

I have a '05 em2 dx, which in canada comes with 14" steelies that look quite ridiculous (only thing i dont like about the car)...since spring is coming I am getting ready to get new wheels, I pretty much know which style I will go with, but now I need to decide which size wheels...thats where I need help. I am almost positive that I want to get 16" rims, but I need to know what profile tire I should get for a smooth ride, one that is close to the 14's...also, will the car be slower with 16's, will it be less fuel efficient, and will having these wheels void my warranty in any way? All info is welcome, I would like to educate myself a bit on this so I don't make the wrong choice...

Read the FAQ, find a tire calculator, and buy the wheels. It seems relatively clear to you what you already want.

This is what I think right now, but I could be persuaded to think otherwise...I need people who have done all of this before to share their knowledge and opinions...the only thing I am 100% set on at this point is that they should be black wheels since its a black car...

wheels dont void warranty. if that was the case i would have crashed my car into the dealership a long time ago. i've got 16" slipstreams which are light, 13.5 lbs. tires are 205/50 but a calcutor might show 215/50 as being the exact same diameter as 185/65/15. here are a couple links cuz i dont know what size your 14s are supposed to be:
