yes i know this prob has been posted before but i searched and couldn't find the tire size for my drop i have.

im now finfishing my suspenson and have gotten a set of sportline. about a 2 inch drop or so. then im lookin into rims and i like 5zigen gn+, 17's 4x100 with 42 offset. then into tires im looking for some all season tires and wondering with 215/40/17 if i would get any scrape with the drop. So im just making sure all my sizes i have are correct- 2004 civic ex coupe

There is no formula

I don't understand why we have to go through this all the time. You can't just take X wheel, Y tire and Z drop and ask if it fits. You need to mount it on the car WITH YOUR ALIGNMENT and see if it fits. If it doesn't, Try aligning the rubbing out. If it still doesn't fit, roll the fenders.
That tire will fit the car, the rim will fit fine too, but you have to just trial and error the fit on the car until it fits. It can be made to fit, or you can get lucky on the first shot and it clears.
