17s and offset?
17s and offset?
standard my civic came with 15s with the 195/60/15 tyres on, just bought some 17s but havent been sure on whether or not they would rub.
they are 7" wide, will be wearing 205/45/17 rubber and come in 45 and 40 offset, i think 45 is the standard offset right? but the wheels are drowned in arch as they sit, they are about an inch or two set back,
question being, can i get the 40 offset and no rub with -40mm springs?
oh, also i got spax -40mm springs but havent got em fitted yet, ive heard that fitting shorter springs to the standard shocks ***** em up right quick, is it fine to do this or not?
Cheers

All of this can be found by searching, because most of this is just nickel and dime crap.
Cliffnotes answers, if you want the details, search and read up.
+40 should fit, if its close, align it out.
I've never heard of spax springs, but any drop will mess up the stock shocks, and its a stupid idea to use them on a lowered car.
