Premature cracking on Yokohama ES100's

This summer I put a set of Yoko's AVS ES100 summer performance tires on my 02' SiR. After about three months and 10k, I noticed cracks forming around the entire circumference of the rear tires. They are not severe, although these tires are supposed to be pretty high end and the cracks look very bad on the profile. This shouldn't happen so soon right?

Anyone familiar with these tires and have you expereinced any cracking? Would Yokohama replace them?

I've got the yok YK420's on mine...the best thing to do to prevent dry-rot...is keep the tire moisturized... if you aren't going to wash the car once a week least splash the tires with some clean water maybe a lil car wash soap and a rinse...but that will keep them from cracking...unless your car sits in direct sunlight all day every day...then this is a rarity type of thing...unless this tire is prone to dry-rot...means they used a formulation with a lot of natural rubber if i remember correctly...tires that will give you less dry-rot is one with silicone in it...think wiper blades...only dif between tires and wipers is where they are on the vehicle...pretty much....

Those tires are not high end. They're Yokohama's budget performance tires. Pictures would help though. I doubt Yokohama is going to warranty them, most HP tires have no warranty. They don't last very long, I had a set of them a while back.
