Weird noise coming from front right wheel area

Hey guys

I was driving on the highway last night going to a casino

Anyway, on the way there, I started driving around 75-80MPH. Then I sped up to about 90MPH when a weird noise started coming from my front right wheel area. It sounded like a humming noise, as if something was rubbing against something. But I felt nothing on my steering wheel, so I ruled out my tire rubbing against my body. My car is still stock height so that wouldn't really be possible.

I dropped my speed back down to about 75MPH and the sound went away. I sped back up to 80MPH and the sound came back!

After casino-ing, I checked the right front tire / steelie / well to see if anything was out of place. I thought the sound might be coming from the wind getting between the hubcap and the steelie so I decided to tighten my lug nuts. To my surprise, 1 of them was substantially looser than the other 3. Then I decided to tighten all of them.

On the drive back, 75MPH nothing, 85MPH nothing.... 90+MPH, it came back. Does anyone know why this is happening?

If not, I'm going to bring it into my dealer (car is still under warranty) and tell them i heard the sound at 65-70MPH

every time ive had a high speed rubbing sound its the fender well liner bending back on itself and rubbing on the wheel, it sounds like hell but is eaily fixed with zip ties.
those factory push in clips suck *** and pull out when alot of wind resistance is put on them

I had the same problem a few months ago. I took it to my mechanic and Honda and we went for a rip. On mine, the noise came from the rear. For me, the problem was that my rear tires had bubbled and was causing the humming sound. He had rubbed his hand around the inside of the tires and every 3rd or 4th tread was higher than the rest. Another possiblity could be that your bearings are shattered. I hope that its your tires cuz replaceing bearings are pricey
