Any damage from thumb tack in tire?
Any damage from thumb tack in tire?
I was checking out my tires today and found a thumb tack in the tread (in one of the grooves) which I pulled out.
Can this thumb tack cause any damage to the tire (leaks)?
The nail piece and the plastic part of the thumb tack were both intact when I pulled it out.

If it got caught in the block you probably have enough rubber to not worry about it. If it got in the grooves, you might want to think about worrying. I'd monitor the tire for the next few days, see if the pressure drops. If it does, take it and get it leak tested and patched at the tire shop.
