cracked drum?!

has this happend to anyone?!
so i'm getting new tires put on at a local shop and they pull off the back, and i go back there and look at the drum...it's all jacked up...it looks like something pushed it in and it cracked almost half-way around the whole drum....i'll get pics...how much are drum units anyway...i was looking forward to painting them this weekend...black of course.

Drums aren't too expensive. Maybe $30-50 a piece?
It can happen if the rim of the drum gets too thin (max ID of the drum is 201mm). If it gets any thinner, and you get it hot enough, you can crack it.

i should be getting it done soon. just gotta find out how much it isso maybe $150 for a diy job with honda drums/shoes and $400+ for a kind shop to do it for you, replacing both drums (with house brand).
my bro had a drum (not sure if they did both) replaced on his neon
at meineke and they charged him $440.good luck, man.

I also have both rear drums off an EX coupe...where in cali are you located...will let them go real cheap!!!! PM Me if interested!!
