red rota gt3's on ssm?
red rota gt3's on ssm?
Hey fellow 7thgeners, i'm running a 205/40/17 right now. I'm going to get some red rota gt3's in 16's and just wondering what size tire would match up closest to my setup now. a 205/45/16? or a 205/50/16? I tried the tire calculater and 205/45/16 is awfully close. anyone like to help me out? also any opinions on red rota's on a ssm? i know it will stand out...but i just love the look!

i'm running 205/40/16, and i've got my ride at the lowest setting i can get my GCs on and there still is a finger gap, if i keep these and buy new tires i'll probably buy something beefier, like a 45 or 50...

i dunno...i'm having second thoughts now on the red rota's. I've been looking at new rims for over a year, to indecisive. I have it down to about three choices...1: red rota gt3's 2: gunmetal buddy club p1 racing 2's 3: black or bronze 5zigen fno1c's or whatever they are called. I just can't make a damn decision, and it's pissing me off
request a chop on the photoshop threads and it can give you a general idea how it may look. then you can post up another thread and ask for opinions if you really want it.
IMO, they look funky. but if your going for that racer look, its alright. but much better rotas on the market than gt3s.
205/45/16 = more wheel gap, lower profile look, offers better performance than 50's. but then offers less ride quality of the tires than 50s
205/50/16 = kills more wheel gap than 45, not that much of fat tire, great for daily driving, cheaper than 45 series tires
