35 Offset

Can I fit 35 offset in the rears? I'm not sure cause I don't have the car on me for a while and I won't be able to try it on for testing. I wanna get tires, but it'd be pointless to waste money on tires if the rims don't even fit. I've tried to search, but all I see are 38 offesets. I don't see any mention of 35. Would I need a spacer? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks

You don't need a spacer. they're already way out as it is. How big is the wheel and how big is the tire you want to put on it? I put a 215/45/17 on a +37 rim and have no problems.

well the rim is 9.5" wide and I'm still shopping for some tires. I just need to know if it'll fit without hitting the arm.

thanks. I need these wheels cause my 8" wide rims before for my widebody wasn't wide enough. Now that the wide body is going to get pulled out even more to a 6" overall widebody. I def. needed bigger rims. And it just so happened that a company offered to sponsor me with these rims. So now my only prob. is to make them fit.

I don't know what offset you're running right now, but figure with an 9.5'" wheel, you're going about another 1/2-3/4" further in from where you are right now, and about 3/4-1" further out than you are right now. So.... figure out where the inside of the rim is now, go in about 1" and see how much room you got. I doubt very much, and make sure you check on the left side that you dont run into any of the fuel system filler stuff.

Thanks for the tip. I'll be sure to do some rough estimates on fittings and check for the left side. Thanks for the advice.

well. it's 6" overall. So basically 3" on each side. I didn't think it was that wide. I was actually thinking of going 4" on each side. Still have time to think about it cause I have about another week till they start fabricating the rear 1/2 of the car.
