Stripped Bolt

One of the bolts that hold a lug is stripped. I am riding around without one lug on the front left wheel, i dont want to put it back on because if i get a flat, i might not be able to take it off. How much is it to get this bolt replaced?

Doesn't cost very much at all. I wish I could give you a $$ figure but I've never done it. I just remember a friend doing it and saying he paid for it with pocket change pretty much..lol

Pretty easy to do on a car with rotors that slide off. We usually get the price of the stud ($3 or $4) and $20 labor or so. I wouldn't pay any shop more than $30 to $40, depending on your location and the going labor rate where you are.

damn do any of you know that on our car the knuckle and hub assembly have to be removed and pressed apart for the stud to be replaced. It isnt a easy job. I paid $70 in labor to have one replaced. it isnt a cheap job for a mechanic to do.
