braking feels like shiet now..

before i start heres my wheel/suspension set up and car info:
2003 Civic EX Coupe Automatic, 16k miles;
-skunk2 coilovers
-spc rear camber kit
-215/45/17 rims are 45mm offset (rota subzero) wrapped w/wanli s-1099 tires (aka yokohama avs sport knockoffs) 70% thread left on these tires
so anything related with brakes/rotors are completely oem/stock

since it rained, the next following days/week, when i brake during normal driving conditions, the braking performance is pretty horrible compared to the days it werent raining. i have a feeling it may be my brake pads prob because i wore them out quickly? (i did do a few launchs while holding the brake and gas pedal the same time). so i wanted to ask anyone here that have an educated guess on what may be the problem with my braking performance? compared to the past and now, it feels like my brake pads were slit in half

Is this in the rain? Or after the rain when its dry again.
If its in the rain, its because your tires are ****.
If its after the rain, you need to describe a little more what's going on.

after rain.

heres an example: im driving 30mph on smooth surface street (100% dry/sunny). when im stepping on the brake pedal like half way down, the brake pedal feels like its vibrating as i am braking to a stop. it 'feels' like their is a small rock stuck in between the caliper and brake pad when i hit the brakes. its completely fine when the car is accelerating and in motion without the brakes stepped on. i checked the rotors, no sign of any damage.

woodee will become famous soon enough
I had the same problem. I'm with Dru. Swapped out rotors for some Brembo replacements (non-slotted, non-crossdrilled). only costs $28.00 each. Problem solved.
