Post Need help replacing wheel stud.

Did a search and only found info on replacing the back wheel studs but I need to replace 2 studs in the front. My dad and I attempted to remove them a week ago but to no avail. He works mainly on domestics and was trying to knock the hub off. Does anyone have any ideas on how to get the hub off so we can replace the front stud?

Ive never changed one on a 7th gen but on pretty much every other honda. You shouldnt ahve to remove the hub to install the studs. If your lucky pound out the new one and usually you can slip teh new stud in and use a lug nut and some washers to pull the stud into the hub.

here is a picture of how to change one on a hummer, but you get the idea.........

a. Removal
1. Rotate spindle (3) to allow clearance for removal of stud (4) from spindle (3).
2. Drive stud (4) from spindle (3). Discard stud (4). b.

Assembly
1. Align splines on stud (4) with splines in spindle (3) and install stud (4) in spindle (3).
2. Install three flat washers (2) and hex nut (1) on stud (4).
3. Tighten hex nut (1) until head on stud (4) seats against spindle (3).
4. Remove and discard hex nut (1) and three flat washers (2).

I had to replace the hubs on mine and they needed to be pressed out, I think you can get them out if you have a hub puller (at least that's what I was told) otherwise a shop needs to do it.

its not hard.. take the front apart and think about it logically.. im guessing u remove the damn reverse driven screw on the rotor.. and then pry the rotor off (it'l stick cause of oxidation (rust) and then hit it out and pull a ew one thru.. use the ^^^^^washer method to properly seat it.

take the entire spindle off of the car. You will have to remove the ball joints. take off the spindle nut and remove it off of the driveshaft. Then you have to press out the hub from the bearing, then press out the lug bolts, then press some new ones in, then press the hub back on.

I could send you the whole process if you send me your email address
