the grooves r like 1/132nd deep so its really small grooves... i just dont know what to use like as in tooling and polishing compunds

Mother's metal polish would owrk really well on something like that. I suppose, just finish it up with some wax to keep it clean?

Are you sure there isn't any protective coating like clear coat on them? I don't think you'd want to take that off and expose bare metal, unless you're gonna put a clear coat back on it.

You'll have to start with sandpaper and work your way from a rougher to finer grit. Then you would do the same thing with the polishing compound.

Personally, I would see if there is a place that can clearcoat it.

why is clearcoated needed its 100% aluminum and cant/wont rust....has no iron in it.. anywho.. idk. seems like alot of work^^^ especially since my valve stem is located in the middle of the wheel and the wheel couldnt get polished around the valve stem.. maybe i'll just powdercoat the back black...:-/

100% aluminum?? Don't think so. Aluminum alloy more like it. And it will corrode.

Aluminum corrodes... it leaves a white chalky powder.
I'm sure they're coated with something. Honda's factory machine finished wheels have the same type of finish inside the rim, and they're clearcoated. I would just leave it alone... there's probably some kind of protectant on it, well for $450 a rim, there better be something on it.
