need help wit 17s

i need help i wanna get 17 in rims but i dun want to lower my car....i was hoping to go with thicker tires not low profile...anyone got n ideas? which sizes?

215/45/R17 might be the one for you...it won't hurt you at all cos' it's the nearest performance with the OEM wheels...

anyway, how about some search? there are tons of interesting articles about this! =)

Thats what I was going to get but I ended up gettin 205/40/17 and it still needs to be dropped to look good. I didn't wnat to dropped it either so my advise is don't get that size tire!

You don't need to lower your car just to get 17's. Lowering will help reduce that "lifted" look though.
If you go thicker profile tires, you're gonna throw your speedo and odo right off. It's bad enough trying to match up sizes when plus-sizing. Just match up with your old tire sizes as best you can. There's a tire size calculator on here, and according to it, if you go 215/45/17, you'll be like .65% off - not bad at all. It's hard to get it exact. Myself I'm dropped almost 2" and running 205/40/17 and I'm dealin with the 4% difference cause I like the look better.
