215/45/17's
215/45/17's
I will be putting on 215/45/17 on my ex sedan, and i was wonder if it would rub at all. When i put them on i will also install eibach pro kit springs and koni yellow which will drop it approx. 1''+. The rims i will be putting on are enkie's RS6's which are 17'-7's. plz respond!!
With that tire size, you should have no problems. I have a 205/40/17 on my car right now. When the tires wear down, I'll be getting 215/45/17. I wasnt sure on how wide I wanted my tires, so I went with the 205 and have had no problems, other than the speedo being fast.
A ton of members here have 215/45-17's. Even with your 1" drop it will be fine. You have to remember too some guys (and gals) here are on 19"s with 2" drops and 215/35-19 tires and don't have any issues.

if u get 215 /45/17... u cannot fix the rear camber. the rear tires side wall will rub into the fender if it is corrected.
*this is from my experience. i have progress technology springs. i think the camber is fixable if i get 205/40/17

From experience, not hearsay, this is my statement.
Before, when I had my 17" Kosei Racing Senekas with 215/45 tires I never rubbed once in the front or the back. Went through 2 sets of tires with those rims too.
Now i have my Racing Hart C2 Replicas with 215/45 tires as well and I DID rub in the rear, and more often in the front as well. I guess it's just the offset or something. Rolling your fenders is easy though. All you need is a wooden baseball bat that i borrowed from a friend, and a jack.

u wont run into a problem if u dont mind having negative camber.. and wearing the inside of your tires faster.
but if u want to use a camber kit like SPC and have the camber adjusted to spec.. u need a skinnier tire... i beleive 205/40 will work.. but i wont be sure till i get new tires. i will post as soon as i find out.

the right size-
I would of got that size too- but the company I ordered from messed up the order. That reaks- if you do get those for your '03 sedan like I was, your speedo won't be off but .64% or something-a thing to consider when passing that cop-
