i know, i know, but bealive me i've searched, and is there any place online besides Tire Rack(theyre on back order till mid january) that has Kuhmo Ecsta MX in 205/50/15 that doesn't cost an arm and a leg??

If Tire Rack has them backordered... I guarantee you everyone else does too, unless they're still lying around. Tire Rack is the largest store in the country, and since they sponsor most (if not all) of the racing organizations in the US, they get first shots at a lot of the performance and race rubber (the MX would be one of those). Just call the places that you found that sell Kumhos. Online listing isn't going to say whether they're in stock or not.
This happens to Falken Azenis a lot... they make big runs at the beginning of the year and in mid-summer to fill the autocross demand for the start of the season, then replacements, and in between, the stock isn't as large and you have to rely mostly on finding a store that has them. Its a segment-filling tire that isn't made in super-high quantity, its just the way the production cycle runs.
