Si hatch wheels.

Couple of comments and question.

I know they're a bit heavy for 15"s but I feel they would look clean on a sedan.

Anyone have any of Si hatch wheels on their ride (sedan/coupe). I would really like to see some shots. I know a couple member's do.

What do you fellas think of them? I like them alot. They make more of an impression than the Si/EX wheels in my opinion. You wont get as many stares with Si/EX wheels instead of the Si hatch wheels.

I don't get real deep into modding my car so don't say it wouldn't look right. main reason is 'cause of warantee, i don't want part of it voided. once it's over, i'm still taking a route of "form following function"... i wont be going crazy on my car, just unique in a clean way. examples would be like taking the chrome trim peice on the hood and trunk and buying colored peices to match... you know, the little details.

bottom line: what do you guys think about the Si hatch wheels on a sedan (ssm... 5spd)? anyone got pics of their coupe/hatch on si hatch's?

thanks for the input.

They can't void your warranty for getting non-Honda wheels. What would they get you for? Theres nothing they can really do. You can pick out any 15" wheel you want... they can't give you any **** about it because there's nothing that can possibly go wrong because of a rim. Just get a tire thats close or dead on the stock one... then they can't give you **** about gearing differences. Anyways... I think they're kinda blocky. I don't really like them, but thats just me.
Look up Canadian Si Coupes in Members rides and you'll get the idea...
maybe look into trying to score some of the 04 rims if you're ultra paranoid about the warranty....

ahh the warranty issue is not of paranoia. i pick honda wheels 'cause i don't wanna stick out like a total sore thumb to theifs or pass-er by-ers. i like to stick with subliminal messages sometimes.

yeah any wheel wouldn't make a difference, you right and i agree. but my car has no mods really (motor wise) and i'm sticking to getting wheels first rather than a cat or cai/sri, etc. feel me?

you mean those steelie look-a-like tacky rims for the '04's? they don't look too agressive man. are we talkin' about the same thing?

I'm talking about these... they're pushed out versions of the GS-R Fat 5's.
Don't rule out Integra LS wheels (the webs).... I have a feeling they'd be pretty clean on a Sedan.

Actually the limited edition Honda rims are more theft prone than aftermarket rims.

limited edition?
these are far from limited edition.
read the ENTIRE POSTS. it's only 8 to read man, c'mon and get some sense.

btw, are you talking about the civic limited edition rims which are 16"s and come with the FP package? first off they're too heavy, secondly they're 4 grand a set. i also thought that the wheels came with lug nuts that had a key for them to be released.... preventing theft.

correct me if i'm wrong.

You might try checking around at dealers that sell pre-modded cars. I know of a few dealers here in Ohio that sell "sport package" Civics with aftermarket wheels, and they have sets of stock wheels just sitting around, usually with brand new rubber on them as well.
