ijust me or tire/wheel/suspension problem

ok,

so I have put on stock wheel/tire back, they have been seating nicely indoor for the last 6 month.

Lately I have been driving the accord and today when I finally drive my 2002 civic I definitely feel it is kind of shakey... It is like I can feel the car bump up and down at speed of 40-60 km but the road is fairly smooth. I can kind of feel each rotation of the wheels and every little bump on the road...Anyway, the drive is not too smooth...but the handling is ok, the steering wheel does not shake much.

It is just me? because I have not drive it for long time or something like tire/wheel or even suspension has a bit of problem? I did put those wheel on myself like usual...did I screw up something this time??? It is unlikely, but I real feel the drive is not too smooth at low speed...

can someone give me some of their trick to diagnose if tire is at low pressure, wheel is not nicely installed etc?

and what are the conditions will result a bumpy ride?

thanks

Yeah, it sounds like your wheels are out of balance.

thanks,

the stock wheel and tires are from 2002 and since I have my 17" wheels for summer the stock ones are not that used...so can they be consider new and not need to balance?

or just by seating indoor and unused, the wheels/tires still need to be balanced once it is installed again?

I think most of your have 2 sets of wheels/tires, one is stock another is 17"/18" 's so do you pay for balance eachtime you alternate the sets during summer/winter??? that will be $$$ then

If they were on the car, they've probably developed a flat spot. Drive around on them and see if it works its way out, if not you're gonna have to re-balance them. When you store rims/tires for extended periods, its best that you store them stacked on end so the tread bears no weight at all. My Winter rims have been sitting like that since March, I just put them back on today and had no problems.
