wheelmax ****ed me over

I just bought bought some rims form wheelmax.com i ordered some KUGIS
my rims are suppose to be hyper black.. I don't know too much about rims but i know that the rims is suppose to be black and they just coated the outside of the spokes with silver paint..
I can tell that it is paint because on the inner part of the spoke looks like paint that is not smooth...... I need help on what to do.... Should i go get them recoated or something....What are my options...... to ship them back would cost me around 250 dollars........ What is hyperblack anyways......................... Go to this site http://www.wheelmax.com/Wheels/Giova...a.htm#Gianelle
LOOK FOR KUGIS you see the spokes... Inside of the spokes are silver but behind it is black coating....and the inner spokes looks like smugged paint that is not smooth.....

Take a picture and post it. I sort of get what you're saying.
First off... lets get the dumb one out of the way.... does it peel off? As in, is it a protective coating for the finish? Try scraping (with a fingernail) or soaking it off.

The only reason I can see the paint/powdercoat looking not smooth is the casting sucks and it caused bumps in the paint, but without seeing it, its hard to say.
Is any part of the rim the right color (the inside or the back face?
Hyper black isn't completely black... its kinda like a glossy transparent finish. Sometimes it looks real black, othertimes its kinda shiny dark silver.

u droped them? nice move. anyway, just go get them powered coated somewhere to the color you want. sure it will cost more money, but it will take care of the shitty finish u have on there now and it will take care of the scratch you just put on your rim. it is just an extra cost you have to pay for dealing with a low cash campany. "thats the price you pay."

I can't tell you anyplace to get them done, but I wouldn't have anybody work on my rims who hadn't even heard of powdercoating.

Let me put it in perspective - I'm 17, I'm a DIY style car guy, and I know about powder coating. If he's an adult and owns a business, he should definately know.

Try looking up powder coating in your local phone book.

You can powdercoat any color you want.
Look in the phone book. If it doesn't have a "powdercoating" section, look under "metal finishing" It should cost between $30 and $60 a wheel, depending on color and the size of the rims.

I got my wheels from Wheelmax, and had no problem...the only thing I can complain about is that the lugnuts were on back order and got them a week after the wheels...but they credited my credit card $20 after I faxed them the recipet for the ones I bought, and got to keep the ones they sent which were all wheel locks, so I cant complain too much

You don't need to clear coat over powdercoating. Just powdercoat them and you're set to go. Thats $39 a rim... thats a decient deal.
Powdercoating is pretty much invincible. My OZs are powdercoated.
Volks are Powdercoated <----- that should be enough incentive right there

Yet another bad Wheelmax experience. I don't think I've heard of anyone buying from them and being completely satisfied.
